Looks like Gov Murphy is on a signing spree. I follow a fellow on LinkedIn (Blaine Rothauser) who always has beautiful nature photos and today he made several comments on Linkedin in what I thought were insightful comments about Gov Murphy removing the Bald Eagle and Osprey from the protected list due to their growth, what is protecting them from harm in future ? Will this removal result in no nest area protections?? The article noted Kathy Clark of DEP who I know is an extremely caring hard worker, but hopefully Gov Murphy administration is not setting these birds up for failure as I have zero faith in Gov Murphy and even less faith in NJ Audubon based on things they have done or failed to do in the past. Thank you for keeping us abreast on the various 'doings' of Gov Murphy that impact every Jerseyan.

I too respect and appreciate the work of but don't follow Blaine.

You are correct about future threats, given this delisting.

But also, the media and DEP are not reporting what will result from the delisting, which is what the developers want: loss of regulatory protections for thousands of acres of environmentally sensitive waterfront lands. I wrote about that recently, see:

The DEP Commissioner knows EXACTLY what he is doing here - he is an incredibly cynical and corrupt gaslighter.
