For sure. This one was so corrupt I think they knew they could never obfuscate - i.e. how can active farmland, which has never been "developed", be designated a "redevelopment area"?

The staff briefing to the Council before the vote simply ignored this issue. Worse, the staffer claimed that there were "No Highlands resources" impacted, when their own staff Report documented that 100% of the site is "environmentally constrained" and is an "agricultural preservation priority" (including critical habitat for bald eagle!, see:

There was also incredible public testimony at the hearing regarding the involvement of a State Senator in the project, including his law firm representing parties in the warehouse project. Apparently, the Senator is under investigation by the FBI. I was not familiar with and need to nail down the details on this, but was told that it was reported by Politico so its established reality, not just a claim.
