Bless you Bill. How long to wait for environmental organization leaders in NJ to call this out!? Absolutely no justification. What about the long construction timeline. No mention. Dangers no mention. How it answers the short term supply problem no mention.

Rethink Energy NJ, the group formed by NJ Conservation Foundation, Pinelands Preservation Alliance, and The Watershed Institute SUPPORTS new "modular" nuclear (see their comments to BPU RFI last summer). Those same groups have received funding from PSE&G. The also provided cover for PSE&G and DEP's failure to mandate cooling towers.

Even more disturbing, the NJ LCV, who submitted more critical comments to BPU last year that did not overtly support new nuclear are silent, because their former leader, Ed Potosnak is not the Act DEP Commissioner cheerleading nukes, despite his huge conflict of interest.
